All our new facilities are housed in The Barn, which was transformed in 2013 into a modern amenity, yet retaining the character of a granite farm building which it once was. Downstairs are the ladies and men’s showers and toilets in separate rooms. The Men’s room has toilets, showers and wash hand basins with a shaver point and hand drying facility, housed in a purpose-built, brightly-lit and modern amenity with built-in air extraction. The ladies room is a larger version of the men’s room with a hairdryer and hand dryer.
Outside these rooms are the stairs which take you up to reception, coffee lounge and café, kitchen and office. There is free Wi-Fi and a television as well as an information area. You can sit and enjoy refreshments in this area upstairs or go out on to the south facing balcony and enjoy the sun. You may wish to use our tea garden opposite The Barn or try your hand at boules. From here you overlook the playground area.
There is another staircase down to a patio area from the balcony where you will find the washing-up area, laundry, disabled toilet and ironing area. Disabled facilities provide a toilet and wash hand basin and a specially built staircase up to the first level, as well as a baby change facility.
The café and kitchen offer hot and cold drinks, ice creams and simple hot food. Homemade cakes and cream teas are available in the Tea Garden. Our shop offers basic supplies and holiday souvenirs.
The campsite is level and well drained offering pitches in the sun or shade and many are equipped with 16 amp hookups. All the fields have water taps and access to the fields is good. Motorhome owners have access to a dedicated emptying point.
You will be able to choose a pitch that suits you.

Our two wooden camping cabins are 36 square metres with two double bedrooms, a small kitchen, a lounge/diner with dining table with sofa. Outside there is a sun deck with two rocking chairs and your own BBQ.
The bedrooms have a pine double bed and 2 singles or 4 pine singles; there is also a pine wardrobe. The cabin has electric light, but no sanitation as the facilities block is 30 metres away using steps for the sole use of the cabin clients.
All the beds in the cabins have duvets and pillows provided.
The cabins, with parking, are situated in their own dedicated field close to amenities.
Please see the Tariff page for prices and ring for availability.
The safari tents are custom made for us in the UK and are the same ones as used by Eurocamp, except we have asked for see-through front door to cope with the vagaries of the British weather. They have a wooden floor with rugs, and a proper double bed and two single beds.
Cooking is done on a 2 burner gas stove with a grill, with a kitchen unit to house cutlery, crockery, utensils etc. There is a wooden table, 4 wooden chairs and two comfortable chairs plus your own BBQ.
A standard size fridge with small freezer section forms part of the kitchen equipment and there will, of course, be electric lighting.
Bedding is provided. We do not provide towels.
Parking will be alongside the tent.
